What did you think of the fights in Tupelo on June 5th, 2009 at the Summit? Personally, I thought it was a great night, but I think the final fight between Lawrence Lindsay and "AO" was the absolute best and made the entire night worth the trip.

Honestly I was dissapointed in the card. Perhaps it was because there were only 6 fights. The main event (L3 vs. AO) was, in my opinion, the best.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been great to have more fights but honestly if the only fight on the card was L3 Vs. AO it would have been worth it for me. It was a war and delivered a great match-up. Its like a boxing card where we all bought the pay per view Tyson fight to see the Tyson fight and barely paid alot of attention to the other fights. As long as the Tyson fight dont go 30 seconds because he ate someones ear, we were happy. Wait..almost all of his fights went 30 seconds or he ate a body part now that I think about it!
ReplyDeleteLOL... I agree. Lawrence called it, Doc said it would be a war, and L3 said whoever emposes their will on the other would win and he was spot on.
ReplyDeleteIf that was the ONLY fight, I would have paid double to see it. But I have to admit, I saw of couple of the others that were very scrappy and enjoyed them too. Since it was my first fight, I guess I am a poor judge.
